What's up my friends! I'm continuing one of my previous posts about horror remaks. I found five more horror remakes I felt were very well done. Let me know what you guys think about these!

Starting off with this great 80's horror film. I loved the special effects in this film! The scene where Paul is covered by the blob looks amazing, even today.

John Carpenter did an incredible job directing this film, like everything else he does. The feeling of paranoia and distrust was so high that you find yourself debating, "He's the alien! No, he's the alien!" Again, the effects were great! Films should go back to using these effects instead of CGI. Great ending, no spoilers!

I didn't hear too many people talk about this movie, unfortunately. I thought The Crazies was a great film! Not only did it have this great fear of the infected but also the horrible actions taken by the government to hide there miatake. Timothy Olyphant does a great job as the lead actor. I feel he's a very underrated actor. This movie also incleudes some pretty gruesome death scenes.

You can't go wrong with a movie directed by the great Tom Savani! He stayed true to the original Romero film but gave it his own twist. Some differences in the ending but I love how leaves you thinking, who are the real monsters, the undead or the living? We see how the living are doing horrendous acts to the undead and enjoying it.

I actually liked this film better than the original. No disrespect, but this one appealed to me more. The entire cast did a grrat job. Chloe Grace Moretz is amazing as Abby. There were differences from the original and the book but I think it stiil worked. I wished the ending left you with more closure as to what happen next. The cinematography was beautiful. The film had this dark but incredible environment.
