I love great characters, solid plots and an intriguing story line to pull me in. There's also nothing better than a visual medium that makes

So I should say a few things when it comes to the inspiration of my reviews the first was my curiosity for film and art when I started college and learned some stuff about it already, and because I was going through a rough time I needed something to get my head off of.

The first review I ever watched was something not close to really a review just stating what was wrong with the movie and those were both, ScreenJunkies and CinemaSins. But the realest one and the closest one I could get to was the Nostalgia Critic. Granted I had only watched him in 2014, I didn't really know of the back story to him nor did I know Doug Walker retired him back in 2012 or something like that. I of course watched the episode where Doug mentioned it but didn't really take it seriously until, I was out of the rough times and realized that he meant it and what it meant for him.

Watching "The review must go on" I realized that there was a real passion for the reviews and also a lot of time and effort put into it, it wasn't just a hobby it was part of his life. And so I thought to myself how different my life would have been if I had never discovered him. I thank God that Doug brought back the Nostalgia Critic or I would have never remembered it.
