Everyone loves a good 'best of,' and, as the world of cinema is increasingly upping its ante in terms of vulgar deliverance, it goes hand in hand that the results we're gifted with become more and more graphic as the years pass by. From epic battles and perspiration-inducing sexy scenes to F*bomb drops, audiences are in turn developing progressively vicious expectations. So, we've gone and collected a round up of the movies that have the most movie deaths EVER for you filth-loving folk.

Big thanks to the guys over at Movie Body Counts who spend their days totting up the numbers of guys and gals who pop their clogs on screen, so morbid voyeurs like us don't have to. Here are the rules: people, monsters and creatures are counted, which means that zombies, aliens and all weird and wonderful CGI characters are rounded up and count within the tallies. When it comes to big piles of bodies, only the forms that can be determined are counted and off-screen characters in which their death is (definitely) implied are included too.

300, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and Titanic all made the list (though Titanic could've been one death less if Rose had just budged up a bit, eh?), but can you guess which blockbuster hits the number one spot for the most movie deaths ever?

Place your bets now!

10. Starship Troopers

Body Count: 256 (128 humans 128 bugs)

9. We Were Soldiers

Body Count: 305

Tied 8th. Hard Boiled

Body Count: 307

T8. Titanic

7. Grindhouse (Double Feature)

6. Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

3. 300

2. Kingdom of Heaven

Did you guess correctly?
