Hey Sandman fans! Like the rest of you I'm super stoked about the upcoming Sandman movie (thank you, Joseph Gordon-Levitt). It apparently hit a few bumps along the way but since things seem to be coming along swimmingly, I can't wait to hear who the final casting choices are! Now, we pretty much know that Tom Hiddleston is going to be playing the roll of Dream.

However, like any fan, I totally have my own cast dream team! Keep in mind, these are just ideas and I don't know how I would feel if I saw all my top picks together in one film.

So, here you are. My top casting picks for the Endless from Sandman in no particular order:

Dream
Dream

Adrain Brody- For sure my top pick. Don't get my wrong, Tom Hiddleston is WONDERFUL but Brody has the look and I'd be stoked to see him as Dream.

Ezra Miller- I know. I know. This one is a stretch. He's SO young. But I think he'd make a great Daniel.

Lee Pace- Need I say more? What a wonderful actor. Throw a little make up on this bad boy and he's got it.

Death
Death

Kat Dennings-Before you judge me, click the link. Just do it. You'll understand. She's got the talent, the personalty, the look, the age. She's so wonderful and I think she is capable of bringing the character Death to life.

Noomi Rapace- Noomi has it all. She proved herself as an actress in GWTDT but her personality is quite similar to that of Death (but really...check out her insta. She's great!).

Christina Ricci- Ricci is the stereotypical goth girl. From Wednesday Addams to Katrina Van Tassel, Ricci has the roll down. She's got great talent and a look similar to that of Death.

Destruction
Destruction

Brian Blessed- Neil Gaiman himself said that if anyone were to play Destruction he would want it to be Brian Blessed. He's a bit aged now but I still think he was born for this roll.

Kim Coates- Coates is a little younger than Blessed but I think he has something to offer the roll of Destruction. Look at those eyes.

Charlie Hunnam- Hunnam is young young. However, he has that burley mountain man look that one would look for in Destruction. I can see him playing the roll quite well.

Desire
Desire

Tilda Swinton- Swinton is the obvious choice for the roll of Desire. She has beauty and masculinity. She's a glorious actress and definitely has the talent to pull off this roll.

Milla Jovovich- A less obvious choice for the roll but still quite capable in my opinion. I'd say that for her talent it's time she gets a different roll that she can bring to life.

Evan Rachel Wood- I think Wood is my favorite choice for Desire. She isn't quite as androgynous as Swinton but there's something about her that reminds me of this specific image of Desire. She's seductive yet powerful.

Despair
Despair

Everyone seems to think the obvious choice for Despair is Kathy Bates. While I think this is fair, I wanna go with something less obvious. Remember, whoever plays Despair is going to be in A LOT of make-up so....

Olivia Coleman- I can't remember where I read this suggestion but I TOTALLY AGREE.

Laura Charmichael- Though I'm not totally sold on this, I think as an actress Charmichael is really talented and has shown that she can do that sarcastic, unsettling, type of quiet.

Judy Dench-What's not to love about this? Throw her in some make-up and put her in a body suit and BAM! This is Dench we're talking about. She can do anything.

Destiny
Destiny

Ian McKellen- McKellen isn't my first choice but he's up there. His age is a pro and a con. He's got it but maybe a little too much. McKellen plays a wonderful wise character and I think the part of Destiny relies on that characteristic more than anything else.

Vincent Cassel- Cassel IS my top pick for the roll of Destiny. He's the perfect age and has a wonderful look. Also, that voice. A+

Donald Sutherland- Sutherland is quite a talented actor. He's a little too old, but like Ian McKellen, it doesn't disqualify him as an option. Destiny is, after all, one of the oldest of the Endless and there are times he appears pretty old. Sutherland has the cinema history to convince me he could play the roll well.

Delirium
Delirium

Lauren Ambrose- When I first read Sandman I couldn't help picturing Ambrose's character Claire Fisher from Six Feet Under. I would be fully behind this casting choice.

Mia Wasikowska- Wasikowska has really broken into the world of film. She has the ability to be foreboding and alluring just like Delirium.

Bel Powley- What's not to love about this actress? I've only seen her in one film but I think she could bring to life a character like Delirium. Just look at the linked photo. Throw some color in that hair and I'd say you have your Delirium.

Last but not least:

LOTS AND LOTS OF CATS!

So that's it, guys and gals! Let me know what you think and leave comments with your top character picks or you can totally tare down my suggestions!
