I can see what Marvel Comics has planned for Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which started the trend of cinematic universes. However, I would like to go beyond Phase 3 with this article. So here is my ideas for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe:

Phase Four

What happens once Phase Three is done? My idea for Phase 4 involves the Marvel Cinematic Universe spreading out in all directions. After Phase Three, the Incredible Hulk, Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Inhumans franchises will still not have gone up to three films. This means more films are in order. Also, there is the potential for new franchises in the Marvel Cinematic Universe like Howard the Duck. The main premise of Phase Four is this. Thanos is defeated. HYDRA is "torched" (meaning destroyed). The world is a safer place. The Nine Realms are at peace. S.H.I.E.L.D. is back. However, there are still enemies to deal with. And, some things have not changed. Here are sections on specific franchises in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Incredible Hulk

The Incredible Hulk may have been criticized, but it was still a very good film. I have some ideas for two sequels. The Incredible Hulk 2 would feature the Leader as the main antagonist and introduce the She-Hulk. Doc Samson would gain superpowers and Rick Jones would be introduced. The Incredible Hulk 3 would have General Ross become the Red Hulk and Rick Jones become A-Bomb. General Ross and Rick Jones would have deal with their transformations. Betty Ross would become the Red She-Hulk. All of these characters would team up fight an evil force of some kind. Mark Ruffalo will play the Hulk in these films, not Ed Norton. I also intend to spin-off She-Hulk.

She-Hulk is just as iconic as the Hulk. As seen in The Incredible Hulk 2, Jennifer Walters receives a blood transfusion from the Hulk and becomes She-Hulk. She-Hulk, of course, accepts and embraces her condition in a way that the Hulk never could. She is also not hunted by General Ross like the Hulk used to be. I bet She-Hulk would make a good film protagonist, and since Marvel Comics is good at making superhero films, I think that this one would actually succeed.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is coming out on May 5, 2017. The first film had introduced the Guardians of the Galaxy which had previously been a minor team of superheroes. I have a feeling there will be new members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The most obvious would be Cosmo the Space-Dog. I think the Collector would be the main antagonist. But this section is about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. One possibility for this film would be to have the Guardians of the Galaxy fight a threat on Earth. This would make a good story. The Avengers could appear in this film, although it is unlikely. Here are some spin-off movie and TV show ideas from this franchise.

Nova Corps

This is the first TV series I am going to talk about. I think the Nova Corps deserve their own TV series. Here is my idea for a Nova Corps TV series. Sam Alexander is the newest member of the Nova Corps, recruited from Earth. He is part of a team led by another human named Richard Rider. The Nova Corps is the Milky Way's equivalent of the Jedi Order and the space equivalent of S.H.I.E.L.D. This show would have the Nova Corps using the Nova Force to fight evil forces in space. The show can also expand on the alien races in space. This could be the set-up for more spin-offs expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe in space. There is more to the Marvel Cinematic Universe than just this.

Howard the Duck

The 1986 film Howard the Duck was one of the worst films ever made. However, it has gained a cult following. To incorporate Howard the Duck into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a film would go like this. Howard the Duck travels to Earth and finds himself facing an evil force that threatens to destroy Earth. The 1986 film failed, but I think Marvel Studios can create a better film.

Scott Lang was certainly given a major role in the film Ant-Man. I think there should be two sequels for this movie as well. My idea for Ant-Man 2 involves Hope Van Dyne becoming the Wasp. The movie also involves a new villain. I could also have Henry Pym become Yellowjacket. Janet Van Dyne could come back. Ant-Man 3 would have Cassandra Lang becoming Stature as she gains superpowers from exposure to Pym Particles. I also have an idea for a TV series starring the original Ant-Man and Wasp. This TV series would feature Henry Pym and Janet Van Dyne in their heyday in the Sixties. By opening this time period, I could find room for more superheroes during this time.

Fantastic Four

Since the most recent adaptation of the Fantastic Four flopped, the stage is set for incorporating the Fantastic Four into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. My idea to incorporate them into the Marvel Cinematic Universe involves a TV series set in the Sixties during the Space Race. A TV series would be better than a film. The idea involves the Fantastic Four fighting against the likes of Doctor Doom and Galactus. I cold find room for the Silver Surfer.

Silver Surfer

Speaking of the Silver Surfer, I think he deserves a TV series of his own. The TV series would have the Surfer Silver searching for his homeworld of Zenn-La after betraying Galactus. Yes, it is loosely inspired by the animated series from 1998 only better. He eventually reaches Zenn-La where he saves the planet from Galactus. Other heralds of Galactus could be introduced as well. This TV show would be a spin-off of the one featuring the Fantastic Four.

Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange will be coming to theaters on November 4, 2016. I think the film that is coming out will feature Baron Mordo as the main antagonist. I think this trilogy should be modeled on the original Star Wars trilogy. That means saving Dormammu for the final film in the trilogy. I also think the Ancient One deserves a TV series of his own which focuses his younger days and how he became the original Sorceror Supreme. It could then focus on his training of Baron Mordo before he turned evil.

A Spider-Man film is coming out on July 28, 2017. It is planned to be the first film in a trilogy modeled on The Dark Knight Trilogy. It involves Peter Parker dealing with his life in high school and college, his job at the Daily Bugle, and career as Spider-Man. Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, and Venom are his main enemies,so they could be the main antagonists of the films along with some others. There are a lot of Spider-Man villains that could make it to film. However, Earth and other worlds cannot have all the fun.

I have ideas for three TV series st on Asgard. The first TV series involves Odin and his conflict with the Frost Giants of Jotunheim around the year 965 AD. Odin would have allies on Earth. The second TV series involves Odin's father, Bor, and his conflict with the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim around the year 2988 BC. The Dark Elves would certainly threaten Earth. However, Bor will certainly have allies there. The third TV series involving Odin's grandfather, Buri, and his conflict with the Fire Demons of Muspellheim which is likely to be seen in the flashback at the beginning of Thor: Ragnarok. I do not know when this will be set or how Earth will be involved. The most likely time period would be around 10,000 BC. Let's get back to Earth.

Black Panther

Black Panther will be coming to theaters on July 6, 2018. I believe it will focus primarily on Wakanda and Black Panther's determination to liberate it from an evil tyrant named Ulysses Klaw. I already have ideas for two sequels. The second film goes international. The third film deals with Black Panther fighting Man-Ape for control of Wakanda. This would make a perfect Black Panther trilogy. I hope it is made.

Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel will be coming to theaters on November 2, 2018. The question is this. Who is Captain Marvel? Based on the news so far, it is Carol Danvers, who for decades had been known as Ms. Marvel. This film will most likely spawn two sequels. Each of them will most likely feature a different villain. The Kree are also likely to be involved.

Ms. Marvel

If Carol Danvers is Captain Marvel, who will be Ms. Marvel instead? Kamala Khan, the current bearer of the codename in the comic books is the most obvious. It is likely that she will first appear in Captain Marvel 2, and then, she will be given her own film series. Not bad for the first Muslim-American superhero to have her own comic book. She definitely deserves a movie of her own. She is also an Inhuman which makes her the perfect movie protagonist.

Speaking of Inhumans, they will be the main focus of a film on July 12, 2019. The Inhumans of Attilan have enhanced physical abilities. The Terrigen Mist grants them special abilities that they don't otherwise have. They should be the main subject of a trilogy of films. Inhumans on Earth should not be left out. We have already seen them in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., so we should already be familiar with Inhumans. The MCU has Inhumans, so why not mutants?

One of my ideas is to incorporate the X-Men films of 20th Century Fox into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This can only be done through a deal between 20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios. I think it can be done. My idea is that the mutants have their own equivalent of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Professor Charles Xavier wins indeed. However, mutants and inhumans are not the only sub-groups of humans around.

Eternals and Deviants

Eternals and Deviants are two sub-groups of humans with god-like powers. My idea is a trilogy of films that shows them as having inspired Greco-Roman mythology. The Eternals were the Greek gods. The Deviants inspired mythical monsters. Thanos is one of the Eternals. Therefore, the Avengers films can set this film franchise up. That would complete the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Avengers

Speaking of the Avengers, what will happen after The Avengers: The Infinity War, Part 2? My idea is to have a live-action Avengers TV series. This would allow for the Avengers to go on missions that could not be possibly covered in the films. This is the last idea I have for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

What do you think about my idea to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe beyond Phase 3? Let me know your opinions in the comments section.
