Remember how totally stoked we got when Liev Schreiber and Hugh Jackman teased us that Wolverine and Sabretooth might clash again for Wolverine 3?
The previous story is here, but it's summarized in this Tweet where Jackman seems to be hinting that our favorite Sabretooth, Liev Schreiber, is in training to take on the role again for the next Wolverine movie...
Pretty exciting prospect, eh? Now Schreiber has spoken more on the topic with Jimmy Fallon, and while he does not confirm his involvement with Wolverine 3, it's certainly tasty food for thought:
"Well, what I heard was... I don’t know if I’m invited. But I heard that the storyline is Old Man Logan. And when I heard that, I thought, ‘Well, you know there’s Old Man Logan, there could be Old Man Sabretooth.’"
Check out the video below for more.
Hugh Jackman has previously told fans that Old Man Logan is the plotline being explored in Wolverine 3:
"I've got three words for you guys: Old Man Logan. As I promised, this next time is my last time putting on the claws, it's one last time."
Hell, if it's really the last time we're gonna see Jackman as Wolverine, it'd better be a darn good movie. Do you think that 'Old Man Sabretooth' - or any Sabretooth, for that matter - is necessary for a decent Wolverine 3 movie?
Is Sabretooth vital for Wolverine 3 to be a decent movie?
