Comedy movies have many easily recognizable, recurring stars, such as Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Steve Carrell, Seth Rogen and Zach Galifianakis. But there are way more people in comedies besides just the main actor. In fact, there are plenty of supporting and minor actors and actresses out there who have been in many of your favorite comedy movies, and you may not have even noticed it.

Here are 5 actors and actresses who have been in almost all of your favorite comedy movies without you even realizing it.

1. Rob Riggle

Rob Riggle kick-started his acting career after being a cast member for one season on Saturday Night Live. After that, he played supporting roles in an assortment of comedies. The crazy part? He's actually a terrific actor. When he is put in movies like Dumb and Dumber To where the rest of the supporting cast does not perform well, he stands out like a star as a truly terrific and hilarious actor. Also, he's a US Marine, as if he wasn't already cool enough.
