It seems like The Social Network writer, Aaron Sorkin, is pretty keen on riding that biopic wave! Sorkin, who is fresh off finishing the Steve Jobs movie, set to release this year, will be telling the story of one of TV's most famous leading ladies, Lucille Ball.

Lucille Ball, who starred in the 1950s black-and-white sitcom I Love Lucy, made the world laugh and is still considered one of the greatest comediennes to grace the small screen.

So, who could possibly play such an iconic and seemingly inimitable character? Oscar winner Cate Blanchett (The Aviator, Blue Jasmine), of course!

The Wrap reports the biopic will document her working relationship and 20-year marriage with her co-star Desi Arnaz, with whom she had her two children. Blachett and Sorkin will work with Ball's children Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr., who will produce the film through the Sony-based company, Escape Artists (Southpaw, The Equalizer).

I guess now we're left wondering who should play Ricky, Ethel, and Fred! If you have any suggestions, let us know in the comments section!
