When the trailer for [Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens](tag:711158) first graced our screens a while back, it opened up a series of buzzworthy questions that put all fans into a tizzy.

While others speculated just whose hand is on that lightsaber or who will really be in charge this time around, I couldn't shake one selfish thought from my mind: toys. The Star Wars franchise consistently offers some of the best merchandise around, so I was confident that a movie that looks this epic would follow suit.

Now, Hasbro and some others have proved that assumption right with some of the most mouth-watering merch on the market. Out of all the incredible options, here's the best of the new Star Wars that will inevitably lead to the complete depletion of savings.

11. Remote Control BB-8

Price: $59.99

So you don't want to shell out the big bucks for the more advanced BB-8 (don't worry, it's later on this list), but you still want the adorable little friend roaming around your home or office. Never fear, there's this remote control version that runs on batteries, and it'll have you rolling in enjoyment in no time.

10. Furbacca

Price: $79.99

As someone who appreciated his Furby even when the batteries got low and lovable murmurings turned into demonic tongues, I've got a soft spot for this little guy. The fact that he can make classic Chewbacca noises and hum the "Star Wars" theme simply makes him a great friend to have around.

9. Poe Damerons X-Wing

Price: $49.99

Oscar Isaac's leader of the Black Squadron gets to steer this awesome vehicle, so why shouldn't you, too?

8. Bladebuilders Jedi Master Lightsaber

Price: $49.99

I'm not one of the guys who vehemently hated Kylo Ren's lightsaber designer, but I'm definitely more intrigued by the ability to create my own. With this set, there are over 100 possible combinations, so my non-committal mind can switch it up whenever I see fit.

7. 20-Inch Captain Phasma Figure

JAKKS Pacific

Price: TBD

I don't care what anyone says. The fact that Gwendoline Christie's costume is purely armor without any clear markings of her gender makes this one of the most coveted pieces of merchandise for me.

6. Star Wars Special Edition Catch Phrase

Price: TBD

This may not be so high on other people's lists, but Catchphrase will forever be my favorite game to end friendships over. At least with the Star Wars edition, everyone can agree that this is an awesome-looking piece of machinery that should not be thrown at the wall.

5. NERF Chewbacca Bowcaster

Price: $24.99

Crossbows will always be cool. Treat this right, and it's an investment for future generations.

4. Black Series TIE Fighter

Price: $169.99

This enormous, gigantic, massive piece of instant want may be pricey, but you've gotta remember that it's enormous, gigantic, and massive.

3. R2-D2 Mini Fridge

Price: TBD

Okay, so not specifically related to The Force Awakens, but I just couldn't not include this. Who doesn't want a life-size R2 who not only keeps your drinks cold but also DELIVERS THEM TO YOU. Sadly, it's slated for a 2016 release in Japan with no other marketing plans for the rest of us.

2. Hot Toys 1/6 Scale Kylo Ren Figure

Sideshow Collectibles

Price: $224.99

The brand that's known for impeccably accurate and detailed collectible figures will run you a pretty penny, but with meticulous craftsmanship and an LED-enhanced lightsaber, I doubt you'll be looking for a refund.

1. BB-8 App-Enabled Droid

Price: $150

Finally, the toy that should be on everyone's holiday wish lists. The stand-out star of the trailer BB-8 immediately set off a firestorm when he was introduced. Now that there's an app-enabled, personality-enhanced droid on the market, it's time to start reaching into those pockets and giving your home the one thing it absolutely needs.

As if you needed more convincing, here's the BB-8 getting a test run with an equally adorable group of puppies.

Yep, it's definitely time to invest in a robot.
