If you were a fan of Laguna Beach and The Hills then you'll be well versed in the friendship/frenemy-ship of Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag. The pair were best friends, until Montag started dating, later marrying, Spencer Pratt. Recently, during a segment on Marriage Boot Camp, Heidi came out and said that she forgave her former friend Lauren for "trying to ruin" her life (yeah, harsh right?), and now it's Lauren's turn to respond.

Appearing in the October issue of Cosmopolitan, Lauren had this to say about the drama:

I’m not really involved in that anymore, I don’t think it has anything to do with me. You just have to focus on the good people in your life. Focusing on what you lose is only going to make you sad.

Way to rise above it all, right? I have to say, i find this take quite refreshing after all the years of Laguna Beach and Hills drama. Nice one, LC (I should I call her LT after her recent marriage to William Tell?).

Lauren then went on to talk about how her days on the show helped make her into the strong person she is today:

When I did television, scandal was always around me. And I think one of the best things [about that] for me is that your life becomes more big-picture. You have to develop a thick skin really quickly. It toughened me up, which is good.

I can only imagine!
