Tingles reading this.
Absolutely love Sledgehammer so it was a massive thrill to not only see the war machine back in action, but to get some closure and insight into Redding's last days inhabiting the suit, maintaining that connection to humanity that Johan increasingly struggles to do, before passing on. Perfectly executed climax, with Johan drifting into the ruins of the suit just as the bulk of the BPRD forces appear to be overwhelmed by whatever behemoth happens to be in the way this month. Loved Tedesco's work over the last two issues, balancing the calm, ethereal moments with the action sequences that literally crackle across the page. I've spoken about this recently but it appears that the whole Mignola-verse is headed to a very tangible point that is very much in sight, I couldn't be more pleased to be able to witness it first hand.
