With Disney in charge, they are expanding Star Wars beyond the main films and a few TV series. One thing I am not happy about is the fact that a lot of continuity was thrown out. However, Disney is willing to incorporate from these Legends stories as they are called into their Star Wars continuity. That is my idea for creating a Star Wars Cinematic Universe. Here is my idea:

The Adventures of Luke Skywalker

This is the name I am going to a CGI-animated TV series idea I have. It is set in between Episodes IV and V. It focuses on Luke, Leia, and Han during that time period. Inspired by the Galaxy of Fear series and other Legends stories from this time period, this TV series helps to chronicle events from this time period. In the aftermath of the Death Star's destruction, 1,000 star systems have joined the Rebellion. More are joining, but Yavin IV has been evacuated. This show focuses on what happened leading up to The Empire Strikes Back. This period needs to be chronicled.

Splinter of the Mind's Eye

This is the TV Movie that will accompany the The Adventures of Luke Skywalker. It is and adaptation of the 1978 book of the same name by Alan Dean Foster. Set on Circarpous V a.k.a. Mimban. Luke and Leia are on their way to a meeting on Circarpous IV when they crash on Mimban and find themselves searching for the Kai-burr Crystal while trying to keep Darth Vader from getting it. This TV movie accompaniment to my TV series idea will help restore years of continuity. But these aren't the only ones.

Shadows of the Empire

Shadows of the Empire is a CGI-animated TV movie based on a multimedia project from 1996. It focuses on the events between Episodes V and Vi. One of the villains is Prince Xizor, an alien crime lord and the leader of the Black Sun criminal organization as he intends to take Darth Vader's place. This, of course, leads into Return of the Jedi. The events that occurred during the original trilogy are not all that are important to the history of Star Wars.

The Force Unleashed

The Force Unleashed is CGI-animated TV movie based on another multimedia project from 2008. It will serve as a follow-up to Star Wars: Rebels and show how the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It focuses on Darth Vader's apprentice Galen Marek who ends up betraying the Empire and starting the Galactic Civil War. This, of course, provides a way to create a good timeline for Star Wars. But the period of the original trilogy is only one part of the Star Wars timeline.

The Last of the Jedi

This is a CGI-animated TV series based on the book series of the same name from 2005. It is focused on Ferus Olin who left the Jedi Order prior to the Clone Wars. This is set one year after Episode III and shows what happens to the Jedi after Revenge of the Sith. It is also supposed to fit into the canon just like the rest, so some elements will be changed from the books. Just like the books, the TV series ends on Alderaan. Of course,, there are still portions of the timeline that need to be chronicled.

Jedi Quest

Jedi Quest is a CGI-animated TV series idea I have based on the book series from 2001. It is set in between Episodes I and II and focuses on Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker during that time. These two Jedi Knights watch as the political situation deteriorates culminating in the Separatist Crisis that leads to the Clone Wars. The Trade Federation serve as villains in this TV series, but they are not the only ones. The TV series leads into a TV movie.

The Approaching Storm

This CGI-animated TV movie is based on a novel by Alan Dean Foster from 2002. In it, two Jedi and their Padawans are on Ansion trying to solve a border dispute to make sure that the planet does not leave the Republic. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luminara Unduli try to prevent this dispute from going out of control. Their padawans, Anakin Skywalker and Barriss Offee are along for the ride. This TV movie leads into Attack of the Clones.

Labyrinth of Evil

Labyrinth of Evil is a CGI-animated TV movie based on a book that leads into Revenge of the Sith. It shows what happened before Episode III with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker searching for Darth Sidious, not knowing that he is Chancellor Palpatine. They search on Tythe. Meanwhile, Coruscant is attacked. The move to defend Coruscant takes on a lot of work. Meanwhile, General Grievous is out to abduct the Chancellor. The film ends with Grievous succeeding and thus leads into Revenge of the Sith.

Jedi Apprentice

Jedi Apprentice is an idea I have for a CGI-animated TV series based on a novel series from 2000. It focuses on Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi before Episode I. The intention is to go all the way to just before the movie. At the beginning of the series, Qui-Gon Jinn does not want to take Obi-Wan as his padawan because his previous padawan, Xanatos, had been a traitor. But after a few episodes, Obi-Wan does become Qui-Gon's apprentice. And the show continues on from there.

Master Yoda and Count Dooku

One idea I have focuses on how Master Yoda became a Jedi. This will be a series of films that focuses on Yoda. The name of Yoda's species will be revealed for the first time. These films chronicle Yoda's rise to Jedi Grandmaster. One film focuses on Yoda training Count Dooku. By extension, I also want to see Qui-Gon Jinn during the time he was Dooku's apprentice. However, Yoda's story is very important because he trains all of these Jedi. What about the Order of Sith Lords? There are some things about the Sith that have not been revealed yet in canon.

Darth Plagueis

In 2012, a novel was released about Darth Plagueis. My idea is to adapt this novel into a trilogy of films. The first film focuses on how Darth Plagueis killed his master Darth Tenebrous, his encounter with Darth Venamis, and his taking in of Darth Sidious as an apprentice. Also, in the film, we see how Naboo joined the Republic thanks to Darth Plagueis's company, Damask Holdings, and the Trade Federation. The second film is set eleven years after the first film ends and focuses on Palpatine's rise to power as senator from Naboo and the elimination of political opponents. We also meet Darth Maul for the first time. The third film starts two decades after the second film ends and features events regarding the Sith during the time leading up to The Phantom Menace and actually coincides with the film for the last few minutes. The film ends with the death of Darth Plagueis at the hands of Darth Sidious who takes on Count Dooku as an apprentice.

Darth Bane

Darth Bane is the Sith Lord that started the Rule of Two, 1,000 years before Episode IV. In the Late 2000s, he was the subject of a trilogy of novels which I have the idea to adapt into a trilogy of films. The first book to be adapted will be Path of Destruction. This film focuses on the fall of the Sith in the form of Skere Kaan's Brotherhood of Darkness. Darth Bane institutes the Rule of Two in the aftermath of the destruction of the Sith. Rule of Two will be adapted next. It focuses on Darth Bane and Darth Zannah's lives after the Seventh Battle of Ruusan. One Jedi apprentice, Johun Othone, is out to stop them while the Ruusan Reformation occurs under Supreme Chancellor Tarsus Valorum. The Galactic Republic before the Reformation becomes known as the Old Republic although the Galactic Republic after the Ruusan Reformation is technically the same nation. The last book to be adapted will be Dynasty of Evil. In this film, Darth Bane seeks the ultimate secret to achieve immortality. However, Darth Zannah intends to kill him before he can get it. She succeeds and takes on Darth Cognus as her apprentice. This is my plan for a Darth Bane trilogy.

The New Sith Wars

Speaking of Darth Bane, what about what happened before his rise to power in the Sith. I have plans for multiple films and TV series set during this 1,000-year period, not just the first Darth Bane film which is right at the end. One film focuses on how Darth Ruin formed the New Sith Empire. Others focus on the events that followed. TV shows provide more chronology for the New Sith Wars period. I think this is a period that deserves to be chronicled.

The Old Sith Wars

I also want this period to be incorporated back into canon. The first film will focus on the Great Hyperspace War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. The second film features Freedon Nadd the Sith Lord who becomes King of Onderon. The third film features the Great Sith War with Exar Kun being the main antagonist. The fourth film deals with the end of the Mandalorian Wars that follow the Great Sith War. The Mandalorian Wars will be dealt with in a TV series that chronicles them. The fifth film is based on the first Knights of the Old Republic video game. The main antagonists are Darth Revan and Darth Malak. The sixth film is based on the second Knight of the Old Republic video game. It features the Jedi Exile fighting the Sith Triumvirate. The seventh film features the end of the Great Galactic War as depicted in Star Wars: The Old Republic. The Great Galactic War will be covered in a TV series. The eighth film depicts the Cold War ending and the Galactic War beginning. Both the Cold War and the Galactic War will be covered in their own TV shows. The ninth film features the end of the Galactic War with the Republic and the Jedi victorious. The Sith Empire is defeated.

Darth Desolous

This is a Star Wars Anthology film about the Sith Lord of the same name. It focuses on the rise and fall of Darth Desolous. He is a Jedi who turns to the dark side and becomes a Sith Lord. He leads an army which ends up being annihilated. I think he would make a good main character for a film.

Hydian Way

Why would I come up with an idea for a Star Wars Anthology film that focused on this event? Because I want to show that there is more to this galaxy than just wars. This film focuses on the adventures of Freia Kallea. This includes her discovery of the Hydian Way. I think that will expand the Star Wars Cinematic Universe significantly.

Vultar Cataclysm

Another Star Wars Anthology film from the Old Sith Wars period. It focuses on the Third Great Schism which does not lead to a new Sith organization. The Dark Jedi are defeated and the escape to the Vultar system and try to take control of the ancient technology that built it. Ultimately, they destroy the system.

Great Droid Revolution

Still another Star Wars Anthology film from the Old Sith Wars period. This focuses on the time droids rebelled against their masters. Led by HK-01, the droids are rebelling against their masters. Jedi Master Arca Jeth destroys HK-01 and defeats the Revolution. This would make a good movie.

Rimma Trade Route

This Star Wars Anthology movie focuses on the formation of the Rimma Trade Route. This film shows how the Herglics and the Givin created the Rimma Trade Route allowing for more economic activity for the Galactic Republic. This is not the only Star Wars Anthology film set 5,500 years before A New Hope.

Corellian Trade Spine

This Star Wars Anthology film focuses on the blazing of the Corellian Trade Spine. This film depicts its final completion. This allows for more economic activity in the Galactic Republic.

The Hundred-Year Darkness

This will be a series of films and TV shows that focus on the Dark Jedi that became the Sith. These Dark Jedi genetically manipulate life creating monsters. They fight a war with the Jedi and the Galactic Republic which lasts 100 years. The last film features the exiles and how they founded the Sith Empire. Also, the Hundred-Year Darkness is still officially canon.

The Golden Age of the Sith

This TV series focuses on the life of Marka Ragnos the Dark Lord of the Sith who presides over the Golden Age of the Sith. He is modeled on Vito Corleone from The Godfather. This TV show shows how Ragnos dealt with ruling the Sith Empire. This would show a lot about the Sith that we don't already know.

The First Great Schism

This series of films and TV shows focuses on the conflict with the Legions of Lettow. The Legions of Lettow are a group of Dark Jedi that split off from the Jedi Order and turn to the dark side. They fight a war with the Galactic Republic. They are defeated and destroyed. This would make a good time period to chronicle.

The Pius Dea Crusades

This series of films and TV shows focuses on the Pius Dea Crusades. The Pius Dea sect commit massive persecution of non-Humans. Some factions of the Galactic Republic fight against them. Most notable are the Jedi who rebel against them.

Formation of the Galactic Republic

This Star Wars Anthology film focuses on the formation of the Galactic Republic approximately 25,000 years before A New Hope. It depicts the process by which by the Republic was formed which is modeled on the Constitutional Convention. It depicts how the Jedi became the guardians of peace and justice in the Galactic Republic. I am not done yet.

Formation of the Jedi Order

This series of films and TV shows focuses on the Force Wars of Tython. It involves a war between the followers of the light side and the followers of the dark side. The first begins with the discovery of the Force. The last film ends with the formation of the Jedi Order. This completes my idea for a Star Wars Cinematic Universe.

By incorporating Legends continuity before Return of the Jedi back into canon through these films and TV shows, I bet the history of the Jedi and the Galactic Republic can be told easily. What do you think of my idea for a Star Wars Cinematic Universe?
