I'm addicted to watching and owning movies. I even love to talk about movies when I'm not watching them. I write movies and I make movies.

I previously wrote an article about DC beating Marvel in the movie universe battle. Writing about DC beating Marvel was simply to be different than all the other articles, get some views, and for me to talk about Batman. I agree with a lot of people with the idea that neither one will beat the other in the long run, and we all ultimately really want to see Marvel and DC join forces to make all comic/superhero movie nerds fantasies come true.

In light of the thought with a DC and Marvel crossover movie, I created a list of heroes from both sides that should team up for the first DC/Marvel universe live feature.

Batman

We all knew this was coming, so, let's get it out of the way. Batman is a necessity because he has martial arts skills, stealth, money, technological weapons and he's an aggressive detective with unlimited resources. He's also the DC fan favorite. He'd be a great leader or “captain” for the team, and able to make the best decisions about keeping the protection of everyone.

The Hulk

You've got to have some great muscle on your team and he's the perfect candidate. Sure there are others stronger than him, but with everyone else on the team, they could take down anyone stronger than him. Bruce Banner is also extremely smart when it comes to science and working alongside Batman/Bruce Wayne, they could accomplish great things, without the risk of Wayne doing something stupid and crazy like Stark/Iron Man tends to do. For example, Banner and Stark create Ultron, which then creates Vision, but I feel if it had been Banner and Wayne, then they would have created Vision while skipping over Ultron. Ultron was Stark, but his bad side. Wayne has a better head on his shoulders and something like that wouldn't have happened.

The Flash

Grant Gustin as the Flash

He would give the team some speed. There are many times where something needs to be done very quickly, so, of course this is the man for the job. Reverse Flash and Zoom are examples of people who are faster, but Flash has a great heart and spirit. He also brings in some naive comic relief and will do anything, including sacrificing himself, to save everyone and make things better. I like Grant as the Flash on the TV show and would want him in the movie instead of Ezra Miller.

Star Lord

Chris Pratt as Star Lord

Here's where the team gets their funny, sarcastic team member who tends to screw things up and then make things better. Why do you need Tony Stark when you can have him? Not dissing Tony Stark, but come on, he's got major demons in his closet, and Robert Downey won't be playing the role at the time this could possibly be made. Star Lord gives the team knowledge of space and the galaxy as well, and if he does screw up, then his mistakes will be contained away from the planet. He would also serve as the communication to those in need of help throughout the galaxy. How cool would it be to see Batman and the Hulk in space? How would the Flash's powers work? I think he's also a great comedic asset who can get shit done, and he's like a demi-God.

Cosmo

Seeing as it's tough to be in space alone, you usually need a sidekick/companion, and everyone loves animals, so, why not bring in one that has already been slightly introduced? It's very reasonable to assume Star Lord would have some help and that it could be Cosmo. Cosmo has great telekinetic abilities and is in outer space anyway. Wonderful edition to the team.

Aquaman

A lot of people may laugh at this, but Jason Momoa himself recently said “There’s a bunch of jokes about him, but I’m like, ‘Just wait. Let’s just wait a little bit, and then you can make jokes.’”

I never understood why people see him as a joke character. He can talk to sea creatures and control the water! How is that not badass and cool as hell?! I'd love to see Aquaman being lifted by waves, like Magneto hovers above the ground, then his trident glows brightly, then we see a big battleship, or spaceship, get attacked by the biggest squid and shark imaginable. The ship crumbles and gets sucked to the bottom of the ocean by a huge whirlpool. That's why Aquaman is on the team. The waters of the Earth are connected and protected by this God.

Psylocke

With her they have woman with telekinesis powers, which always comes in handy under any circumstances. She would also be a sexy feminine edition to the team. She can bring a lot to the table under any major crisis and helps round out the color scheme in the team. We should be seeing a live appearance of this character in the X-Men: Apocalypse movie. Having her added to the roster would mean that Fox has broken down and decided to pair with Marvel, or gave complete control of all X-men (mutants) to Marvel. Either way, it would be great news for geeks everywhere.

That would be my initial base for a team on the good side.

Now, villains you ask? What villains would they fight in this movie? Seeing as it's already a crossover, we should have a villain from each side as well.

Darkseid

He would be a great villain because he has so many powers and seeks to find the “Anti-Life Equation”. He is known to seek after Earth because humans have fractions of the equation hidden within their minds. He could travel the universe and find exactly what he is looking for here on Earth, especially if he had another villain from Earth who would likely help discover the formula he seeks.

***UPDATE*** I figured since all the roles were cast except this one, I'd throw in a cast of my own.

Michael Jai White
Michael Jai White

I think Michael Jai White could make a great Darkseid. He's played Spawn, so, he's able to get into intense costume and make-up, a great voice, and he's established in the comic book world for Spawn and the DC series Arrow (he plays The Bronze Tiger). He's also established in the video game film world as Jax in Mortal Kombat series.

Dr. Doom

Toby Kebbell as Dr. Doom

He has the resources and ability to find this anti-life equation that Darkseid seeks, but he would also have some hidden agenda behind helping him. Perhaps he sees this as his ticket to rule over all as he wants to do. Since Fox has already given up rights in this ideal movie making world, he could easily be a villain.

All of this would work for a great crossover movie. I'm sure some other superheroes would be thrown in the mix, but this is a strong team base.

Who would your crossover movie team consist of?
