Ever since Hulk flew off into the sunset in his spectacularly hijacked Quinjet, the Internet's collective brain has been ticking over with ponderings of when the next time we'll be seeing the giant green rage monster in action is.
Would he be making an impromptu strop off in Captain America: Civil War, or would he take to the stars in order to keep the planet safe from his anger issues, leading to a possible adaptation of Planet Hulk/World War Hulk? That'd be pretty cool, right?
Well, seeing as we probably won't ever get a standalone Hulk movie in the MCU, unless Universal and Marvel Studios/Disney come to some megabucks arrangement, the next best option would be a cameo or starring role in James Gunn's sequel to last summer's stand out hit Guardians of the Galaxy.
According to the man himself, who recently took to Twitter to once again debunk theories like this, we definitely won't be seeing Hulk indulging in a dance-off for galactic safekeeping. Which is a damn shame, if you ask me.
Hulked on a Feeling
Not stuck with questions only about the giant green elephant in the room, Gunn also fielded questions about the soundtrack, Chris Pratt's scent and a particular marvelous Captain...
Will Banner Hulk in Space?
His Dream Additions?
Vol. 2's Sure-to-Be Epic OST?
The Scent of a Pratt?!
What do you think?
There's no doubt in my mind that Mark Ruffalo's Hulk deserves to have more screen time. Because more Mark Ruffalo is never a bad thing. But who knows what Marvel are up to right now. They do indeed move in mysterious ways.
