It's hard to believe that once upon a time, the actors and actresses below were entirely unknown budding youngsters eager to finally make their big break in the industry.
Let's take a trip down memory lane to the first times the following 11 stars appeared in front of the camera. The way they looked in their first roles will either shock you, or make you say "awww!" out loud:
1. Leonardo DiCaprio

In 1976, at the young age of 23, Liam Neeson joined the Lyric Players' Theatre in Belfast, where he performed for over two years. However, in 1977, he got his first movie role playing Jesus Christ in Pilgrim's Progress:
3. Margot Robbie
After graduating school at 16, Margot landed a guest role on Australian TV show Neighbours, where she was soon promoted to a regular cast member. Check her out in action as a cheerleader in this scene:

4. Joseph Gordon-Levitt
In 1988, Stranger on My Land was a TV Western film starring none other than Joseph Gordon-Levitt, aged 6. Check out his absolutely adorable glasses!
5. Scarlett Johansson
From an early age, Scarlett's mom would take her to auditions for commercials. When she was just 9 years old, she finally made her movie debut in 1994 comedy North. Here's an image from her casting audition:
6. Jared Leto
In 1992, Jared Leto moved to L.A. to become a director. While trying to make his big break, he took a few acting roles to pay his way, with his stint on TV show Camp Wilder being one of his first. Here he is opposite Hillary Swank:
7. Chloë Grace Moretz
In 2004, little Chloë stepped into her first role in a CBS series called The Guardian. Take a peek at her cute little face:
8. Chris Pratt
At 19, Chris Pratt was working at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company in Maui when director Rae Dawn Chong snapped him up for her directorial debut, a short horror movie called Cursed Part 3. Take a look at a scruffy blonde-haired Chris kissing all the girls here:

At 7 years old tiny Angelina appeared alongside her father Jon Voight in her first feature film Looking to Get Out in 1982:

Tom Hardy's face first appeared on our screens in 1998, when he was 21 and had won The Big Breakfast's 'Find Me a Supermodel' competition.
