According to community news site Watchers On the Wall, Richard E. Grant (Bram Stoker's Dracula, Downton Abby) is heading for Westeros; his official agency CV having revealed the British actor's involvement in the next season of HBO's Game of Thrones.

Grant, perhaps most famous for his role as vitriolic alcoholic, Withnail, from Withnail and I, possesses a certain seedy flamboyance that would be perfectly suited to playing one of George R. R. Martin's slimy rogue-types.

But the question on everyone's minds is: who exactly could Grant be playing? Several central characters have yet to be officially cast, including Sam's father Randyll Tarly, though it's really anyone's guess at this point.

In any case, bagging a talent like Grant is only good news for GoT's future. What do you think about his involvement?
