12. The Last Thing I Saw
The last thing I saw was my alarm clock flashing 12:07 before she pushed her long rotting nails through my chest, her other hand muffling my screams. I sat bolt upright, relieved it was only a dream, but as I saw my alarm clock read 12:06, I heard my closet door creak open.
11. Don’t Be Scared
Don’t be scared of the monsters, just look for them. Look to your left, to your right, under your bed, behind your dresser, in your closet but never look up, she hates being seen.
I woke up to hear knocking on glass. At first, I thought it was the window until I heard it come from the mirror again.
Our daughter was maybe three at the time and I still had to help her get ready for bed. As I stood her up on her old changing table to get her pajamas on she looked over my shoulder and whispered in my ear: "Daddy there's a monster standing behind you."
8. Two Players
(Xbox) "There are two players in the room... " (Player) "No Xbox, I am the only person in the house." (Xbox) "I have detected another person in the room..."
A girl heard her mom yell her name from downstairs, so she got up and started to head down. As she got to the stairs, her mom pulled her into her room and said, "I heard that, too."
I begin tucking him into bed and he tells me, “Daddy check for monsters under my bed.” I look underneath for his amusement and see him, another him, under the bed, staring back at me quivering and whispering, “Daddy there’s somebody on my bed.”
5 . The Unwanted Truth
You know that weird, full-body twitch you get sometimes when you're falling asleep? If there was a camera pointed at you, and you saw what it captured at that moment, you'd never sleep again.
4. Baby Monitor
A father is lying in bed after just waking up, he grabs the baby monitor and walks to his desk in his office at home, he has his baby on the baby monitor and hears his wife singing to her, he cracks a smile as he hears his wife “Go to sleep… go to sleep…” When suddenly the front door opens up and his wife comes in with groceries.
3. If It wasn't the Dog Then Who...Was..?
It is custom for me, that when I go to bed, my dog will lick my hand before we go to sleep. All was fine until I was awoken to hear my dog barking outside.
2. Seriously, Don't Look!
You know that feeling you get when it feels like you're being watched? Look over your right shoulder..
1. The Screams
My daughter was born deaf, yesterday I found a note she had written which read - Mommies screams get louder and louder, why does it want to take her away?
