As fast as a cheetah, as sly as a snake, as fierce as a lion! And did I mention as young as a...kid?

That's right! Kids can be just strong, powerful, and courageous as any adult. If you don't believe me, just flip on the TV or watch any film. You're sure to find a super BAMF kid in any show or film.

Below is a list of my personal top six. Oh, how I wanted to be a Spy Kid so badly!

1. Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games series

She's a rebel, she's incredibly skilled when it comes to the bow and arrow, she defends her family and her district until the end, and she's survived the death match known as the Hunger Games.

Let's just say I'm hungry for more badass-ery from Katniss! Though I do have to say I am depressed that the series will be ending, as the last half of the film Mockingjay is coming to theaters this November. Check out the trailer below:

2. Thomas and his friends from the Maze Runner series

Thomas and his friends are smart, sarcastic, fast, calculating, and even telepathic. This group of fearless rebels is able to escape out of the dreaded Maze, a feat that even the strongest and wisest of adults would have trouble with.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials come out in theaters next friday, September 18th!

3. Carmen and Juni from the Spy Kids series

Holy shii...take mushrooms.

This brother and sister duo stay true to their family and rescue their parents, even if they do think their parents are a little embarrassing and lame. We might be used to parents saving their little ones, but these confident and strong kids really know how to put up a good fight and be there when it's time to rescue.

4. Harry, Ron, and Hermione from the Harry Potter series

Two wizards and a witch make the perfect team for defeating an incredibly villainous wizard named Lord Voldemort, all while attempting to get good grades and pass their O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

If only I could get my hands on a Firebolt and be just as talented at Quidditch as Harry Potter is.

5.Carl Grimes from The Walking Dead

He ain't afraid of no zombie!

While your average child might be afraid of what is lurking under the bed, this kid has no issues looking walkers straight into their eyes and blasting them into smithereens or knifing them. Don't be fooled by those baby blue eyes; he's seen a lot of intense crap over the years and isn't turned away by danger and fear.

6. Hit-Girl from Kick-Ass

The movie might as well be named after her, as she can beat anybody in combat, no problems. Raised by her father who taught her how to be a superhero and assassin, this little girl isn't interested in dolls and nail polish.

She's more interested in kicking your ass.

The may be small, but badass things come in small packages sometimes.

You might as well give them a chance. You never know when you'll need the help of a child. A very badass, skilled, and intelligent child, that is.
