I must say, I had serious doubts about Super Mario Maker. I took as a sign that Nintendo were running out of ideas for their fans, so they felt they should simply bestow the power upon them. That's kind of what happened, but the way in which the game has been developed is exemplary. Super Mario Maker gives you the tools to create the Mario levels of your dreams...or nightmares.

Once this game is unleashed upon the world tomorrow, Nintendo fans will be able to share the levels that they've created with one another. I have a feeling that I'll never make another level, but simply live off of the joy of other people's designs. The stuff you can do with this title is amazing, and you should totally check out, Koji Igarashi - the creator of Castelvania - make a level in Super Mario Maker!

Mario Kart 8 or Mario Kart 9, Need to Come Together With Super Mario Maker!

Here at Moviepilot, we have a very deep affiliation for Mario Kart 8. We're on it nearly every day, and we've tried every single variation on every race we can think of to spice it up. But after you've played every single race a hundred times over, it can start to simply make you want something new.

Mario Kart 8 is a dream. Rather than getting a Mario Kart 9, I'd sooner buy additional packs of DLC for this remarkable game. But imagine if we could simply create are own levels. Mario Kart 8 brings together a number of ideas that the series has introduced over the years. However, if Nintendo start to take a look at all of their brands through the eyes of Super Mario Maker, they're going to find so much potential for experimentation. But if we had to pick one franchise, it's definitely the Mario Kart series!

Do You Think We Could See A Mario Kart Make Release Date?

With zero gravity, parasails and an insane amount of items, we could create so many interesting maps for Mario Kart 8 or Mario Kart 9. There would be sharp turns, impossible drops, we'd have to steer our cars into massive holes as we used our sails to glide into them, and we'd all fight over limited yet guaranteed amazing power-ups. It would be chaos! We could manipulate the game in whatever way we see fit!

Some of the tracks in Mario Kart 8 are remarkable, and the re-working of older maps goes to show that some things just never age. But what we really want a Mario Kart Maker for is so that we can never feel the need to obtain a new one. Just stick with the perfection of Mario Kart 8 on Wii U and live in an endless bliss of karting madness!
