As fans of Square-Enix's most popular game series gear up for the HD release of Final Fantasy VII, and the debut of Final Fantasy XV, the company has decided to take gamers back in time while they wait.

Today, the company announced that they'll be bringing the classic story of Final Fantasy V to Steam for Windows PC. The fifth installment of the series continued the game's classic RPG tradition and told the story of four strangers (including our hero, Butz) bound together by fate who embark on a grand adventure, in 16-bit animation.

Final Fantasy V releases on Steam later this month, on September 24th.
