It’s now September and we know what the means… the new TV season is upon us!

These are just a series of articles about my most anticipated shows, new and old, of the 2015/16 TV season. All opinions are my own.

Starring Krysten Ritter, David Tennant, Mike Colter, Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville and Erin Moriarty.

Working as a private investigator in New York's Hell's Kitchen, an ex-Super Hero's past comes back to haunt her in "Marvel’s Jessica Jones."

I knew of the Jessica Jones/Alias comics and found out a little bit more when it was announced that Netflix was going to turn it into a series.

I still know barely anything about it but it’s due to how awesome Daredevil was, that I will most definitely be watching this.

While I do love what ABC and Marvel has done with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter, Daredevil just blew it out of the ballpark. The ability to say, see and do things that you can’t do on network television gave it the freedom to be the characters the need to be.

Much like the Marvel movies, I love that all the Marvel and Netflix shows are intertwined and will all come together. I’m looking forward to the crossovers but I’m okay if this doesn’t happen until their second seasons so we can get a good grasp on these characters alone before the team ups.

Another draw card, for me, is Krysten Ritter and David Tennant, who was and still is my favourite Doctor. I’ve liked most of the stuff Ritter has done so I’m excited to see her in both a lead and a serous, action role.

I feel relatively blind going into this show but I feel comfortable knowing it’s coming from the Netflix/Marvel collaboration team.

I probably just jinxed myself, didn’t I?

Jessica Jones will premiere on Netflix, in its entirety, on November 20th.
