EAGERLY ANTICIPATED: Returning Favourites

It’s now September and we know what the means… the new TV season is upon us!

These are just a series of articles about my most anticipated shows, new and old, of the 2015/16 TV season. All opinions are my own.

The Flash.

THE FLASH: Season 2

My Season 1 review can be found here.

It's a tough choice but I think The Flash is probably my favourite show from the 2014/15 Season.

The pilot was awesome and every episode just got better and better. The relationships between the characters, especially Barry/Joe and Barry/Cisco, were probably the highlight of the show as well as Grodd. Major kudos to the cast and crew for being able to bring in a telepathic gorilla and not make it look like a joke.

Can't wait to see what The Flash has in store for us this season (hopefully more Grodd), especially after that finale.

Agents of SHIELD.

WHAT HAPPENED TO SIMMONS?

IS COULSON GETTING A REPLACEMENT ARM?

I'm also excited to see a bit more of the Inhumans gracing our screens this season too and I hope to see the team going out on missions together again.

The Mysteries of Laura.

THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA: Season 2

My Season 1 review can be found here.

This was a surprise favourite for me; to go from knowing barely anything about it to loving it and now to eagerly waiting for the second season.

I love the cast, I love the seriousness but also the comedic moments and how well they intertwine without ruining the moment.

Agent Carter

AGENT CARTER: Season 2

My Season 1 review can be found here.

Agent Peggy Carter, for me, was one of the highlights of Captain America: First Avenger and to see her keep popping up in some of the Marvel movies to eventually getting her show was awesome for me.

I love the set up with Agent Carter airing in the mid-season break of Agents of SHIELD, I'm excited to have Hayley Atwell and Enver Gjokaj back as well as the awesome sets and props.

IZOMBIE: Season 2

My review for Season 1 can be found here.

I love this show. I love the stories, the cast and the relationships between the characters, mainly Liv & Ravi, Ravi & Major.

Hoping to see a lot more of that this season plus some awesome new adventures and new characters.

Grace and Frankie.

GRACE AND FRANKIE: Season 2

My Season 1 review can be found here.

The only reason I even wanted to watch this was for Lily Tomlin.

So to marathon my way through this series and to come out loving it, I can't wait to see Season 2. The cast is awesome, from the leads (Tomlin and Fonda) to even their kids.

It's drama but it's also comedy but overall, it's entertaining.

Daredevil.

DAREDEVIL: Season 2

My review for Season 1 can be found here.

So I actually don't mind the Daredevil movie, it's so far from good but it's somewhat entertaining but this show is just amazing.

It’s dark, it’s gritty, it’s violent and has one of the best opening credits I've seen for a TV show.

The casting is brilliant; Charlie Cox, Elden Henson and Rosario Dawson are entertaining but nothing compared to the brilliance that was Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin!

SENSE8: Season 2

My Season 1 review can be found here.

This show is amazing!

I was hooked from the very first episode. It has you on the edge of your seat, it’s funny, it’s sad, there’s action and there’s drama and it all flows easilys with one and other.

The characters are what I love most about this show, especially Sun and Lito.
