What is it that makes a superhero iconic? Well his/her superhero costume. It's as simple as that. The bits of fabric don't just hold their secret identity but rather, the suit, in some ways, reflects who the character actually is. That is, in the original comics. It seems that every new comic movie/TV series, there is a new suit involved. The characters suits somehow develop over time. Make it more appealing to newer audiences? There's an actual storyline behind it? Or maybe it's just to make a fresh approach. In the original comics, there were costume changes, however they were very rare. I thought it would be interesting to see the development of various characters' costume evolutions over the years.
This post is going to be mainly images with captions. Please keep reading. And I shall update the post over time. And eventually there will most likely be a commentary written!
