Pitch Perfect star and director of Pitch Perfect 2, Elizabeth Banks, is currently in talks to direct a reboot of the iconic seventies spy show for Sony.

The original show from the 1970's starred Farrah Fawcett, Jaqueline Smith, and Kate Jackson. It ran from 1976 to 1981.

The first reboot of the series came in 2000 and starred Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz as the sexy, dangerous, and brilliant trio under the guidance of the mysterious Charlie. The film also featured Bill Murray, Sam Rockwell, and Crispin Glover.

A negatively received sequel titled Full Throttle, was released three years later and it featured the lovely ladies all reprising their roles. The newest addition was that of Demi Moore as former Angel gone rogue, Madison Lee.

Drew Barrymore attempted to resurrect the franchise with another TV show, but by that time and still reeling from the disappointment of Full Throttle, audiences just weren't having any of it.

No word on casting decisions, but we will keep you updated with developments as they come forward, including whether or not Elizabeth Banks will actually take on the immense pressure and challenge of directing this film.
