Not much was known about indie flick, Jack of the Red Hearts when it was announced over a year ago as having a cast, director, and that it had completed filming during the months of June and July 2014. It would be well over a year before anyone heard anything about the enticing drama.

Jack of the Red Hearts follows the heartbreaking story of a teenage con artist (Robb) who tricks a desperate mother (Janssen) into hiring her as a live-in companion for her autistic daughter.

Janssen, best know as X-Men's Jean Grey, can be seen in the upcoming third and final season of Netflix's Original Series, Hemlock Grove. The teaser trailer for the epic conclusion to the horror series has been recently released by Netflix. You can also catch Famke on the upcoming sophomore season of How To Get Away With Murder.

Robb, best known for her roles in Bridge to Terabithia, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and more recently in The CW's, The Carrie Diaries will be featured in the upcoming PBS mini-series, Mercy Street.

Jack of the Red Hearts is directed by Fly Away's Janet Grillo and based on a screenplay by Jennifer Deaton.

Though we do not have a trailer yet, the film's Facebook page has revealed that the trailer will drop sometime in September 2015. The film is currently scheduled for select release by AMC Indie across the country on December 4, 2015.
