If you haven't already heard, get ready for your nostalgia to get kicked into high gear because there's a brand new Peanuts movie coming to theaters this fall! In case you're wondering what the film will look like, check out the trailer below:
From the looks of things, Director Steve Martino was able to take the feel of Charles Schulz's classic story and translate it for the youngsters of today. But Martino and his crew aren't the only people taking inspiration from Schulz's story.
Designer and artist Angela Avanesyan designed the following runway-ready looks inspired by the Peanuts characters. Let's take a walk down the runway with Charlie Brown and the gang to see what everyone's sporting this season:
A casual yellow number with a sheer top, plaid skirt, and high socks. Really the perfect look for almost any occasion.
Snoopy's look is chic as always in a black and white dress with small red accent pieces. Gooooorgeous, darling!
Linus' signature stripes and blanket are vamped up in a maxi dress and an oversized pashmina. This model is also working some brown booties to top off the look.
This short blue number with a high collar and puffed sleeves is dressed down with a pair of black and white lace-up heels. I could see Lucy wearing this everyday...mainly because she wears the same outfit everyday.
This Woodstock inspired look is vibrant, charismatic, and fun in various shades of yellow and gold accented with feathers. Plus, those fun socks are begging to be brought out on the town.
Now here's an outfit anyone could rock. A tomboyish style, the long, narrow button down shirt is reminiscent of the roaring 20s, but her leather shorts scream modern chic. Way to step up the fashion game, Peppermint Patty!
I love seeing all of this Peanuts-inspired art coming out and it's amping up my excitement even more than before! We'll be seeing what Charlie Brown and his ragtag group of classmates are up to soon enough.
The Peanuts Movie will reach theaters on November 6.
