The first question here would be: What is human nature? It can be perceived in many different ways, but that in itself almost describes what human nature is. It is the way we think, how the way we were brought up reflects how we think, our thoughts and our emotions. So, then, the overall question: Do psychological thrillers attempt to define what human nature is? A lot of them make human nature seem as though it is corrupt, Fight Club, for example, presents an almost dystopian world where society has corrupted what it is like to be human, everyone has become zombie-like and materialistic. For my Film Studies coursework, I am attempting to answer this question, and reflect why we apparently need our human nature defined.
What do you think?
