One of the most remarkable things about the news is that it can, when done right, change the world - just take a look at Woodward and Bernstein's Watergate revelations, or the Boston Globe's exposure of the Catholic church's shocking sex abuse record in Massachusetts, as soon to be seen in Spotlight. It can change attitudes, shift the balance of power, and make the world a fundamentally better place.
This isn't that kind of news story.
Though, if political machinations in Washington aren't your thing, it might just be even better. The reason?
This is a Monkey That Looks Exactly Like Wolverine
Yup, that's right. Intrepid photographer Lessy Sebastian was enjoying a day out at the Secret Zoo in Malang City, Indonesia, when he spotted a Wolf's Mona monkey that just so happened to look exactly like pretty much everyone's favorite X-Man, Wolverine. Possibly even more so than Hugh Jackman, in fact.
If you're hoping to spot a Wolverine-alike monkey for yourself, though, you might be better off heading to Africa - since the Wolf's Mona monkey (also known as Cercopithecus wolfi) is actually native to central Africa. Whether you'll find one quite so dedicated to Professor Xavier's cause, however, is another matter entirely.
If Wolverine's not quite your thing, though - never fear. There's also:
A Lizard That Looks Exactly Like Spider-Man
Though whether it can do any of the things a spider can (jumping aside) remains to be seen.
A Dog That Thinks It's Captain America
Though, in fairness, being dressed up exactly like Cap is probably what gave the pooch the idea in the first place...
And, of course:
A Sloth That IS Donald Trump
Now, sure, Trump may not be a superhero by any possible definition, but from the looks of it, he might yet turn out to secretly be a sloth disguised as a multi-millionaire businessman with grand political designs.
What do you reckon, though?
