***Possible spoilers for the conclusion of The Hunger Games books***

It's all getting incredibly exciting isn't it?

It's just over two months to go now until the 20th November 2015, when the highly anticipated conclusion to the massively popular Hunger Games franchise will be released worldwide. But [The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2](tag:449866) has a lot of living up to do if it's going to end the series on a high, especially given the bittersweet ending of the books - which will require a delicate hand if they go the way of the canon.

The For Prim Trailer

We've gotten a few trailers now, most recently the For Prim trailer, which was kinda great.

It's a bit different in this one, an antithesis to the other trailers which chronicle the ideological war and civil uprising, complete with explosions and Katniss going head to head with the tyrannical President Snow. This low-key trailer displays a flashback montage of moments between Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Primrose/Prim (Willow Shields) over the course of the last three films.

This shifts emphasis from the battleground back to what it is that Katniss is fighting for - family. This is a great trailer because it encompasses the very heart of the series, namely: "I never asked for this, I just wanted to save my sister."

Because unlike other volunteer tributes Katniss doesn't enter the games for glory nor money, nor even with the intention of overthrowing the Capitol, but in a moment of split decision-making she volunteers to save the life of her sister. Everything that happens after the initial Hunger Games is a result of Katniss being pulled along and manipulated by people who require her, not as a sister or tribute, but as a symbolic rallying point for their cause.

It's a nice touch, this trailer, because before the final battle it reminds us what Katniss is fighting for in the first place, though it's a bit of a knife in the heart of us who know how the books end.

The Premiere Posters

Another quite nice marketing touch, three of the main cast - Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson (Peeta) and Liam Hemsworth (Gale) released three premiere posters for Berlin, the UK and Paris respectively.

Each poster features either Katniss, Peeta or Gale, with the hashtag promo and premiere date for each country.

Whilst Mockingjay - Part 2 wont be released until November 20th in the USA, the European premieres are all a little earlier. It'll be shown first in Berlin on the 4th November, then in the UK the next day on the 5th and Paris on the 9th, with it officially releasing everywhere on the 20th November.

Looking forward to the conclusion of the series, or are you sad that it's ending? Have you read the books, or do you prefer the films? Let us know in the comments!
