James Wan is an incredibly intelligent man. Not only is he one of the hottest directors in horror at the moment with such terrifying features as Saw, Insidious, Annabelle, and many more under his belt, he has also learned the number one necessary step before even begging to shoot a scary movie dealing with possession.
You have to have the set blessed by a priest. After the tragedies that occurred on such cursed sets as The Exorcist and The Poltergeist, Wan is covering his bases and preventing any demonic spirits from having their way with his set.
Ready to rock'n'roll, indeed.
Wan also shared this photo, which is on location of a soundstage (although it completely looks like we are outside), with mystical fog surrounding the backyard.
He isn't afraid to lay on the creepy mist, is he?
The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist story spins off of Annabelle, which follows the infamous 'Enfield Poltergeist' case, which occurred in London in from 1977 to 1979. The two young girls aged eleven and thirteen began to notice furniture moving and heard demonic voices inside their home.
I personally can't wait to see the sequel, as I really enjoyed the first Conjuring film. With James Wan as director, I already know this film with be as chilling and daunting as any of his other horrors.
Get ready to be absolutely creeped out, as the film will be released in theaters June 2016.
