The Star Wars prequels didn't hit off very well with the fans and critics alike. One of the bright spots of the films in my opinion however was Hayden Christensen's performance as Anakin Skywalker. I loved the development of the character and the last couple scenes in Episode III were outstanding. Last time we saw Hayden in a Star Wars film was when he was being suited up to become Darth Vader at the end of Episode III. Now there is rumor that he will be returning to the big screen in the new film, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens!

The Return of Darth Vader?

Darth Vader has become an icon in geek culture. There have been rumors of him possibly making a return in The Force Awakens for quite some time and it seems that there is a possibility of Hayden Christensen returning! This latest rumor is coming from MakingStarWars, a fully operational Darth Vader suit has been created and a team is going to train Christensen to play Vader. There has been much rumor that Vader would be a part of the Star Wars anthology titled "Rouge One" but it would be interesting to see Vader make an appearance in the new films.

How will Vader return in The Force Awakens?

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is set after Return of The Jedi so it seems unlikely that Darth Vader is still out and about after his death. There is one way that Hayden Christensen can make an appearance however, Jedi Ghost! Hopefully along with Obi Wan and Yoda, Anakin can somehow come into contact with Luke by way of a Jedi ghost! I think that would be really awesome and an interesting way to bring him into the story. I loved Christensen's performance, while many didn't, and I would love to see him make a appearance even if it is small. Let's hope these rumors are true and we get to see the return of the original Sith Lord! "Luke...I am a younger version of your father!!"

Would you like to see Hayden Christensen return in The Force Awakens!
