How true is it that time seems to just be flying by with no intention to slow down?
It might seem impossible, but 21 years have passed since the first episode titled "The One Where Monica Gets a Roommate" was released for our viewing pleasure. Being only three years old, I was much too young to watch and understand the genius behind Friends in 1994.
Although I personally didn't get into Friends until nearly fifteen years, I could still appreciate the comedic timing between the actors and the touching moments between the six best friends. I am also a fan of anything 90s, as I love the hairstyle and fashions.
1. Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green
"Where would you be without friends? The people to pick you up when you need lifting? We come from homes far from perfect, so you end up almost parent and sibling to your friends - your own chosen family. There's nothing like a really loyal, dependable, good friend. Nothing."
2. Courtney Cox and Monica Geller
"I don't have time for superficial friends. I suppose if you're really lonely you can call a superficial friend, but otherwise, what's the point?"
3. Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay
"I'll accept being Phoebe to people for a while longer, given how much fun it was. That's totally fair."
4. Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani
"'Friends' was a true ensemble. There really was no star of the show."
5. Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing
"'Friends' was a magical thing, and no one's going to ever have anything like that again."
6. David Schwimmer as Dr. Ross Geller
"I'm fiercely loyal to my friends, and I really cherish my friendships."
It may be over two decades, but I still consider Friends as one of my go-tos when I need some laughter in my life (as well as some vegan chocolate ice cream.)
Friends will forever be a staple in all of our lives, as we can identify with Ross, Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, and Chandler.
