Instead of going to the party in the Gryffindor Common Room, Harry carried me to Hagrid's. It was a fun ride, and I'm comfy, so here I stay! Hermione knocked on the door and my giant friend opened it. Instead of inviting us in, we went on a walk.
"Snape was jinxing the broom! I saw it," we're the first words from Ron's mouth. I jumped down from Harry's shoulders.
"Thahs codswallop! Why would Snape put a curse on Arry's broomstick?" Hagrid answered. I nodded, silently agreeing. Harry, who had fastened his winter cloak over his Quidditch uniform, gave a cheeky smirk.
"Who knows? Why was he trying to get past that three headed dog on Halloween?" Harry answered.
"Who told ye bout Fluffy?" Hagrid demanded.
"Fluffy?" Ron asked.
"That THING has a name?" Hermione asked. Hey, Fluffy's my friend!
"Course he's got a name, he's mine. Won 'im off a Irish feller met down the pub last year," Hagrid answered proudly. "Then I lent 'im to Dumbledore to guard the-"
"Yes?" Harry asked eagerly as Hagrid cut himself short.
"Shouldn't a said tha'! Forget 'bout that dog!" Hagrid said.
"But Hagrid, whatever Fluffy's guarding, Snape's trying to steal it!" Harry argued.
"Will you guys just listen to me?! I'll bet my head that Snape isn't trying to get past him!" I said angrily, managing to keep my hair blond.
"Why are you defending the person who just tried to kill me?" Harry demanded angrily. I wasn't as shock as I should have been, we have these rows a lot, but never has he questioned my loyalty.
"No one knows that Snape even did jinx your broom! Besides, if I had wanted you dead I wouldn't have run myself ragged trying to keep you on that broom of yours," I answered.
"Then why are you so content that it's impossible for Snape to be the thief?" Ron jumped on.
"The both of you are blinded by hatred! You don't want to think that it's anyone else! I know it isn't Snape," I retaliated.
"And how do you know that, might I ask?" Harry rolled his green eyes at me.
"I don't know how I know, but I do," I sighed. Harry opened his mouth to protest, but Hagrid decided this had gone on far enough.
"Listen here, all four a ye! Yer meddlin' in things that ought not to be medled in. What that dog is guarding is strictly betwin Professor Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel!" Hagrid said angrily.
"Nicholas Flamel? Who's Nicholas Flamel?" Harry wondered.
"I don't know," Hermione whispered as Hagrid walked away, muttering how he let some important information slip. Harry glared at me and I stomped off.
"Nothing you say will change my mind about this!" I shouted at them as I stormed to the castle.
