WARNING: Spoilers for The Walking Dead TV and comic series ahead. Consider yourself warned.

This is absolutely not a drill! Less than a month before Season 6 of The Walking Dead premieres, we finally have proof that the big bad of the comic series, Negan, will be appearing in the upcoming season.

While the first half of Season 6 will likely be taken up with the gang at Alexandria having to cope with a massive walker herd threatening their very existence, and a possible conflict between Rick and Morgan, it looks as though the second half of Season 6 will pave the way for Negan to make his debut.

So how exactly do we know this? Well, it's all thanks to a casting call posted over on The Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook page. The casting call is for a character named 'Orin' (don't be fooled by the name, The Walking Dead always use codenames when they cast comic book characters), and his character description has Negan written all over it, check it out:

30s to mid 40s. A physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath that is both a leader of men and a killer of men. He has both a practical and emotional intelligence, he's a brilliant strategist, he's pure, dangerous, murderous, often gleeful id, that still has both discipline and a code. And he has a temper that can vaporize people. He's truly one of the strongest personalities ever...

Yeah, I know, right? That is absolutely, without a doubt, a description of Negan. But in case you weren't convinced, check out the Facebook post below which states the episode that Negan will make his debut in:

Season 6, Episode 16, a.k.a. the season finale. What better way to end a season than with the arrival of the baddest motherfucker of the entire comic series?

Fans of the show have known that Negan would be making his first appearance on the show sometime soon, especially considering that members of the Hilltop Colony have begun to be cast, and someone who looks a lot like Paul 'Jesus' Monroe has been spotted on set. However this latest casting call has seemed to confirmed the news once and for all. I never thought I'd say this, but the Season 6 finale cannot come soon enough!
