Rob Zombie has no problem putting his wife "deep in some real Hell shit" for his movies, so why not extend that treatment to other people... on TV? Controversial horror director, Zombie, is set to work on a new comedic horror TV show with Mila Kunis for Starz, entitled Trapped, Deadline reports.

The synopsis is giving me You're Next via Lords of Salem vibes!

Trapped takes places over a single night in the home of a wealthy family under attack by a murderous cult.
Rob Zombie serves Murderous Cult well!

Oh, and the show was invented and written by Joey Slamon of Arrested Development fame, so it should actually be pretty damn funny! Here's what Starz has to say about the venture:

We’re excited to work in partnership with Rob Zombie as well as Mila Kunis and her Orchard Farm Productions associates Susan Curtis, Cami Curtis and Lisa Sterbakov on this horror comedy series.

With such a cool premise, my horror-fiend brain is spinning over what kind of scary angles Zombie is gonna take. We can expect plenty of gore, I guess, but what other horror inspirations or themes will be at work here? Here's a few suggestions - feel free to add your own in the comments.

Home Invasion

Possible inspirations: High Tension, You're Next, The Purge

Horror Comedy

Possible inspirations: Cabin in the Woods, Scream Queens, Tucker & Dale vs Evil

Cult Horror

Possible inspirations: Kill List, House of the Devil, Lords of Salem

TV Horror

Possible inspirations: American Horror Story, Masters of Horror, Tales from the Crypt

Which direction would you like to see Rob Zombie take for Trapped?
