Day 3, Let's Do This!

Before The Vampire Diaries there was Moonlight, a TV series that in my opinion ended before its time. Is anyone familiar with Hawaii Five-0, the 2010 re-make of the original 1968–80 television series? Moonlight stars Alex O'Loughlin pre-claim to fame. I admit, the title and this cover image doesn't make this show look too appealing but I promise you, the 15 year old me desperately wanted Moonlight to continue when it was announced that it was going to be cancelled. The thing that still bothers me is that its ratings were actually alright.

Recommendation: Moonlight Starring Alex O'Loughlin and Sophia Myles

Moonlight premiered in 2007 and ran until 2008, meaning we got a mere 16 episodes of Mick St. John, a part-time private investigator and full-time vampire. Now, if you're into paranormal romance series then Moonlight is right up your alley. The show centers around Mick, a 85 year old vampire who loves to fight crime and injustice. This is how he meets Beth, an internet reporter, whom Mick falls in love with (surprise). I wish I could write more about its plot but we did only get 16 episodes, which mainly build up to Beth and Mick's relationship. Did I mention Moonlight won the 2008 People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama. Does the opinion of the people mean absolutely nothing to you CBS?

It's fine, I'm over it. Clearly this post has brought back feelings I had buried and I shall attempt to pretend they didn't just resurface. Okay, happy thoughts, happy thoughts! Let's try to keep this '5 Day Recommendation Challenge' in motion and to do that I'm nominating Matt Cordisco, Ian Simpson, Aayush Gupta, Jamil Wright and Matt Timmy Creamer! Remember to tag 5 Moviepilot Creators to join in on the fun. Oh, and don't forget to tag your article with the tag. Can't wait to read your cool posts.
