The author and mastermind behind all things Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling, has recently dropped some Tweets (as she is known to do) explaining a little bit about Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the play that will apparently be split into two parts and won't be a prequel.

You might as well get this directly from the horses mouth, so here are said Tweets:

Here's what the playwright Jack Thorne had to say about the two-part split:

"Obviously I loved it when we decided to tell this story in two parts because I got to spend more time with the characters and what an honor that has been.”
