A couple of days ago, I was nominated for the . Now I am supposed to be doing this in 5 different parts, on 5 different days, but you never know. What if the sky falls on our heads tonight?

So after that particularly depressing (but it's Asterix related, you can't hate it anyways) thought, it's time for the real action.

A 90s Comedy (Movie or TV Show)

My recommendation, is definitely going to be, The Mask! One of the most wonderfully entertaining comedy films I've seen, this one is just a laughter riot from the start to the end. After all it's got Jim Carrey at his crazy best!

Although its reputation suffered because of its horrendous, awful sequel "The Son of The Mask". It still remains a classic comedy that has to be enjoyed.

Moving on, time for my next recommendation...

A Cult Movie!

In this category, I initially planned to go with a Tarantino, Reservoir Dogs, or perhaps with another famous cult classic Fight Club. But then, what would be the point of recommending?

This category, is a tie, between two films, which are extremely similar and hardly noticed in the flurry of other films that both of their directors have made.

Yes That is Matthew McCounaghey. Dazed and Confused

American Graffiti and Dazed and Confused. These films are by George Lucas (yes Star Wars George Lucas) and Richard Linklater respectively. Both of them are about a group of high school students and coming of age. But it's a shame that both of these are hardly noticed, especially American Graffiti.

Mels Drive In. American Graffiti!

Now, for the next category...

A TV Series That Ended Before its Time

This position is bagged by...

Easily one of the best shows to come on TV, but unfortunately end after enjoying a run of just a season. This show, however, has developed a cult following since then.

Just to tell you a bit about how great it is, it was created by Judd Apatow. It's cast includes many actors, who have since then achieved great fame. Just look at that picture and you'll see many familiar faces.

A Movie That Got Critically Panned

Hook. It's been called Robin William's mistake, Steven Spielberg's mistake. But, it's one of those movies which we have seen in our childhood and enjoyed immensely. So this is my recommendation to those who haven't seen it yet.

A Comic Book Movie (No Marvel or DC)

One of the best movies that I've seen recently and also one of the best comic book movies to grace the screen. Scott Pilgrim vs The World!

It's an emotional roller-coaster, with some pretty bad ass fight scenes and in the end a movie that just lifts your spirits and brings a smile to your face.

Psst.. Check out my detailed review of the movie, here!

So that's my 5 recommendations, I hope you guys enjoyed reading this. Also, if any of you decide to watch these recommendations, or have already seen them, do drop in a comment and I'd love to discuss them!
