Spoilers are coming! Prepare yourselves accordingly, sweet summer children.
At this point, it seems like even those who don't watch Game of Thrones are speculating about the possible return of brooding bastard Jon Snow. At the end of Season 5, viewers were left with the character's brutal death, something that should be final but very much felt like a cliffhanger.
Fans immediately started theorizing that this wasn't the end of the pivotal character, and somehow he would rise again (potentially with the help of one witchy lady in red). It's gotten to the point where most of us have assumed his return is happening, but we've still been waiting for that visual proof to abate any clawing doubts.
And, finally, here it is!
According to an exclusive from the Daily Mail, this is unequivocal proof that Kit Harrington has returned to don a soldier's uniform and maintain that shaggy hair.
But wait, admittedly, I don't see what the big deal is. Are we supposed to assume the partially snowy fields are a covert indicator that our favorite Snow is returning?
I have a solution for this.
And there's Jon Snow, in all of his resurrected glory!
It looks like he's also ditched the telltale black garb of the Night's Watch, meaning some major conflict is about to go down at Castle Black, or he's already begun a march to Winterfell. Hopefully, Olly gets his comeuppance (and I say that knowing full well that he's a child, it didn't help Shireen!).
Now that we know he'll definitely be in Season 6, it's time to start speculating wildly about just what kind of storyline he'll get. Will he take revenge on his former brothers? Meet up with Dany and sing a true song of ice and fire? Or, return to Winterfell and try to reunite with his long-lost siblings?
Whatever ends up happening, I'm just happy this isn't the end for Jon Snow.
