So I'm just gonna skip to ending of this piece of shit. So after this chick is captured by cannibals, who brutally tortured and killed her friends, then fucking ate them! and after she was rescued by the construction company tearing down the rain forest. She is being interviewed about her experience, and does she do what any sane person would do and tell them these people were cannibals and they tried to kill her, NO! Instead she tells them these cannibals saved her, and the big bad construction company slaughtered the cannibals. At this moment I said aloud, so everyone in the theater heard, "that's a load of bull" because it was a huge load of bull! I'm sorry but if you torture and kill people, you are a bad person, no matter who you are or where you come from, torturing people, cutting out there eyes tongue and limbs while they are still alive, then eating the remains, is sick! I now understand what they meant in batman begins "it's not who you are underneath, but what you do that defines you", that's why I use the term cannibals and not natives, because it doesn't matter if you live in the rain forest, or if you are a creepy old whit guy (Last Of Us reference) I have no problem with other cultures, and that's not what this is about, and I'm sure that real tribes in that region don't act like they did in the movie, but I'm not talking about the people who are actually living in this part of the world, I am talking about the fictional tribe depicted in this movie, that being said, it doesn't matter who you are, if you do the things these cannibals did in this movie, if you are a person who would cut a woman's skin off, and play with it like a god damn toy, you deserve no sympathy! Again I am talking about the characters in the movie, a work of fiction, and not any real Amazon tribes, But that's another thing, you could say this movie is insulting to other cultures, and activists, depicting them as monsters or idiots. If you want to see a movie this weekend, just go see Everest. And Eli Roth if you see this, when you make that Meg movie, it sure as fuck, better be better than this piece of garbage (well Cabin fever is a good movie).
