There's something strangely satisfying about seeing movies when nearly the world has no idea yet what they are, and may never never know. I caught three movies in the festival, and would probably one will be known to people, while the others will most likely disappear completely, which is a shame as there are some charming movies in the mix.
Starting with: THE ONE THAT WILL SUCCEED.
He Named Me Malala
Next is a strange comedy, starring Hannibal's Mads Mikkelsen, in maybe his strangest role yet!
Men and Chicken
And lastly, a horror/thriller based around a corpse of a celebrity!
The Corpse of Anna Fritz
So out of the three, He Named Me Malala is the strongest, and with a score from Thomas Newton, and a song collaboration with Alicia Keys, it seems they'll be pushing this film come awards season for at least Best Original Song!
