It feels so good to see Alice and Claire back together again! Milla Jovovich shared this picture of her and Ali Larter on the set of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter now filming in Cape Town. The two look fabulous as always, even if Alice is a little beaten up.

"Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity's final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began - Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella's impending attack, this will be Alice's most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion."

Alice, as we can see in this picture, seems to have her work cut out for her. Not only is she most likely going to have to take down the Red Queen and Albert Wesker, but she is going to have to do it without any of her super powers. I love the entire franchise, but my favorite installment is the original when Alice is pitted against the undead without her powers. There is something about her being a bit more vulnerable and human that makes the story more interesting. Lets be honest though, she's basically a ninja so its not like she is completely helpless.

As exciting as it is that Claire is back, I can't help but to wonder why we haven't heard anything about Jill? Jill came to play such a major role in the story that it would be impossible to leave her out. What do you think her role will be in this chapter?
