Everyone is hyped up for [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409) that will hit theaters on May 6, 2016. Well, Stan “The Man” Lee has finally spoken regarding his side for Captain America: Civil War in response to a fan’s question at the Edmonton Comic Expo.
Before proceeding, whose side do you think Stan Lee is on?
Stan Lee has picked Cap’s side!
“Whatever side Captain America was on, because he's the best, pure-hearted person in the whole world. By the way, he's a great actor, too, the guy who plays Captain America does a beautiful job - Chris Evans. I say that because he likes me, and anyone who likes me is a great actor.”
This is, in fact, not surprising as a few days back Stan Lee pointed out that Chris Evans is his favorite Marvel star. When asked about his favorite Marvel actor, he replied,
"Chris, the fellow who plays Captain America. He was The Human Torch and then they made him Captain America. And he's the greatest guy! But I love them all!"
Stan has made this decision as he greatly respects Chris Evans, and the character he plays. No doubt Chris is a wonderful actor and Captain America has all the good qualities. Good choice, Stan!
Why being on Cap’s side is a good decision?
Firstly, if you observe the events of Captain America: Winter Soldier, you’d think that no superhero would want the government to register them and spy on them all the time. Not to mention, some officials may turn out to be HYDRA agents, or members of some other evil society. According to Captain America, no one should be trusted.
Secondly, the main reason behind the Regulation Act are the events of Age of Ultron which is pretty much Tony’s fault. Following the events of Age of Ultron, the collective governments of the world pass an act designed to regulate all superhuman activity. In simple words. In other words, Steve doesn’t want others to pay for the mistakes Stark has made.
