In the last few weeks, debate amongst the cast members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been heating up regarding whose side they'd choose, whether as themselves or as their character, in the upcoming [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409).
In case you're keeping score at home, in the past few days, Chris Evans has revealed that he, personally, would side with Iron Man, even if his character does not. Stan Lee, meanwhile, is Team Cap all the way.
Now, [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.](tag:722469)'s Chloe Bennet, weighed in on whose side she thinks her character, Daisy Johnson, a.k.a. Quake, would choose in the war in a new interview with ComicBook.com. If you've been watching the show, her answer shouldn't come as a surprise:
I think Cap. Not just because it's Chris Evans, I think it would be Cap because, I mean, that just makes the most sense. Iron Man is not really for her, you know? I think Daisy's behavior up to this point, and where she’s been means she would go with Cap.
I think it's safe to say that as the first Inhuman introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and one who has seen the extreme lengths shadowy government agencies will go to to keep her kind under control, Daisy would indeed chafe at the thought of having to register her identity. And even before that, when she was just hacktivist-with-anarchic-tendencies Skye, she wouldn't have taken kindly to it, either.
But you know what I love most about all of this? How involved the members of the MCU are with and informed about one another's projects, particularly the cast members of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and [Marvel's Agent Carter](tag:1119765). Bennett won't even be in Captain America: Civil War (though fans are holding out hope we'll see her on the big screen in [The Avengers: Infinity War](tag:738027)), but she understands the sides and the motivations behind each.
I think that's very cool, don't you?
