In a summer of break-ups and relationship drama, another high-profile Hollywood couple decided to call it quits after many years together. Last month, parents-of-two Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green bid marital life farewell, to the shock and horror of millions of fans worldwide.
Yet despite the unexpected announcement in August, it appears that trouble had been brewing in paradise for quite some time as the couple not been seen together in public since December 2014. And even in the summer before that, Fox alluded to relationship problems when she bizarrely revealed:
"Brian doesn't get any intimacy whatsoever."
Despite no official statement being issued for why the couple are going their separate ways, as the ex-lovers continue to swiftly move forwards with their divorce claims, more information is gradually emerging... and it's not pretty.
Brian Austin Green wants Megan Fox to pay up!
It has just been revealed that Brian Austin Green has put it in writing that as well as citing irreconcilable differences, he demands financial support from future ex-wife Megan Fox. A document filed out on Tuesday saw, what appears to be, a box checked for 'spousal or domestic partner support.' Take a look!
Apparently, the reason for the claim is that Green has worked very little since last Christmas because of an injury he sustained when he and Megan were in a car accident. Although reportedly she wasn't injured, Brian has since developed vertigo, a medical condition associated with a fear of heights, but also one that affects a person's balance. The issue had become so bad, in fact, that he has admitted that sometimes it's "so bad he can't get out of bed."
In the meantime, as well as being announced as a lead on Zooey Deschanel's New Girl, Megan has been working very hard on a number of blockbuster projects, such as the sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Remind yourself of her role in the first installment, for example:
And because Brian has been stuck at home unemployed all this time, Megan could be forced to roll out the dollar due to the large disparity between her and her ex's income. It's also been revealed that as the couple didn't sign a prenuptial agreement before they got married in 2010, so legally, Megan is expected to divide her assets with her ex-husband anyway.
All of this aside however, apparently Megan and Brian are very amicable towards each other considering they are going through a tough divorce. And some sources have even been claiming that they could even reconcile in the future, because they still have a lot of love for one another:
"Anything could happen in the future, but for now they've decided it's best to take some time apart."
Hopefully it all turns out well for the both of them and that for the sake of the kids, the divorce isn't a notoriously nasty one!
