When you build a game as large as World of Warcraft, there's always going to be little, sometimes unintended, secrets to be explored. Many of these are hidden from view and technically impossible to get to, although that doesn't stop some intrepid WoW explorers from trying.

Take for example YouTuber, HeelvsBabyface, who managed to infiltrate the secret zone behind World of Warcraft's Stratholme instance. The zone, which appears on the map but cannot be flown over, lies to the north of the Eastern Kingdoms and has now been left abandoned, but not completely empty.

In a new video, HeelvsBabyface shows the rather extraordinary lengths one must go to break their way into the secret area, as well as what you can get up to once you're there. Check out his guide below:

No one is entirely sure why the region was originally included in the game, but that hasn't stopped some from developing hypothesises. For example, speculators and masters of lore suggest it was once supposed to the lush forest region of Quel’thalas, a zone which was later developed as the Blood Elves starting zone in the Burning Crusade expansion.

But the real reason may never be known...
