x3Landre Stultz, an aspiring special effects artist from Havre de Grace, Maryland who can bring your favorite animation characters to life or sever a body part with her gut-wrenching SFX makeup.

I like to believe my passion for special effects started back when I was a child, being that my favorite movies consisted or evil clowns (IT) and possessed children (The Exorcist), movies that still scare most adults. Don’t get me wrong, I was and still am very fond of all of the classic Disney Princess movies and other animation films, too! But whether I’m turning myself into my favorite childhood characters or slicing my fingers off, the world of special effects has no limits.

I like to call this one, 'Lady Buzz.'

"To infinity and beyond!" - Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story

Still playing with dolls?

"Hi I'm Chucky, wanna play?" - Child's Play

Ouch, I hate when the knife slips!

The human body is so complex! Hours of shading!

Don’t worry, it’s just wax and a little squirt blood.

Inspired by The Walking Dead.

I used Gelatin to make those yummy prosthetics. Actually, they taste really, really bad!

Day of the Dead inspired.

A walk through the forest to meet the 'Pumpkin Queen.'

I have always had a deep appreciation for all aspects of makeup. By day, I'm just a 25 year old girly girl who works in the bridal industry, but come night - I'm smearing wax and blood on my face and sharing my knowledge of SFX. I'm just trying to work my way up in the industry until see my name in the credits. It is such a rewarding feeling being able to do what you are truly passionate for.

If you like what you saw here, be sure to follow me on Instagram (landresfx) to see more of my work and any upcoming looks. I'm always looking to put my imagination and creativity to the test, so feel free to make a request. :)

Thank you so much for letting me share my special effects makeup with you and make sure to keep watch for my next post on:
