TMZ has uncovered some rather concerning (and potentially spoilerific) snaps from the set of Star Trek Beyond, hinting that Kirk's beloved USS Enterprise may be in dire trouble.

Sources close to TMZ revealed that the crew are currently shooting the third installment of J.J. Abrams's rebooted franchise at the Pitt River Quarries just outside Vancouver, which are serving as a stand-in for the rocky terrain of a mysterious alien planet. Though details on the upcoming movie remain scarce, fans gagging for an early glimpse of what to expect should take a look below...

Shipwrecked in Space

Could the crew have crash landed on this rubble-littered planet?

A Suspicious Yellow Space Thing

I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at here -- an alien vessel, perhaps?

Inside the Enterprise

The leaked photos also caught a glimpse of the ship being prepared for some interior scenes.

A lot remains unknown about Star Trek Beyond, though I can't seem to shake a bad feeling I have about the fate of Kirk's iconic ship...
