Cathriona White, may have used prescription drugs prescribed to her ex-boyfriend - the actor Jim Carrey - in order to end her own life according to the latest reports from TMZ.
The gossip website claims that law enforcement officials revealed that the pills found in White's L.A. home were prescribed to a fictitious male who they believe was one of Jim Carrey's aliases.
Police reportedly told TMZ that White was discovered with Ambien (sleep aid), Percocet (painkiller), and Propranolol (a beta blocker) next to the bed where she overdosed. All of the medicines were given out by the same doctor.
Law enforcement or representatives of Jim Carrey have not yet officially verified the information above, so it remains to be seen whether it will be confirmed in the press.
White was discovered dead in her home by five concerned friends on 24 September, she had left a suicide note addressed to Carrey at the scene. The 28-year-old former make up artist will laid to rest in the town of Cappawhite, County Tipperary once toxicology reports have been completed.
