Although October 21, 2015 might just seem like another day to most people, fans of Robert Zemeckis' classic Back to the Future Part II know better.

As we quickly approach the day where Marty McFly famously went 30 years into the future, some people are left wondering why it sometimes feels our actual future has fallen a little short.

While we're still a ways away from functioning and easily-accessible hoverboards, and Nike's self-lacing shoes have yet to hit the stores, Pepsi promises to give us a taste of the futuristic world we were promised back in 1989.

Earlier today The Hollywood Reporter announced that Pepsi will release a limited edition run of Pepsi Perfect starting on October 21. In case you don't remember, here's what we're talking about.

So how much will it cost to allow fans to sip on a bit of movie history? The futuristic bottles will retail for a whopping $20.15. A pretty hefty price tag for a soda, but it has seen a drop in price from when Marty bought it for a staggering $50. I guess inflation didn't hit us as hard as we had expected in the late '80s.

In case this announcement wasn't enough, Pepsi also released this trailer to go along with the limited edition drink.

Senior Director of Marketing for PepsioCo, Lou Arbetter, said that this product has been in high demand for Pepsi Perfect since it first hit the silver screen, stating:

Fans have always been a little crazy about it. So we wanted to take advantage of the fact that Marty traveled to the future, to this month, and wanted to actually come out with the product.

Pepsi will also celebrate Back to the Future Part II at New York Comic-Con with a panel discussion and a Café '80s themed booth including a DeLorean and the 'Wild Gunman' arcade game.

Plus, the first 200 Marty McFly lookalikes to walk through the door each day will be given their very own Pepsi Perfect.

Sadly, the company will only roll out 6,500 bottles of Pepsi Perfect, so if you're eager to get a taste of Marty McFly and Doc Brown's world, it's best to get buying while supplies last.

I'll happily prepare my tastebuds for a nice cold bottle of Pepsi Perfect, but I won't rest easy until I can eat my rehydrated pizza for dinner then ride a hoverboard to watch Jaws 19 in theaters.
